Even though I’m pretty sure that’s an oxymornon.
Was your weekend filled with copious amounts of homework like mine? Luckily the weeks have seem to be flying by and I’m just one step closer to busting out in the real world. Dressing this morning seemed to be an extra difficult task, and I felt the need for some pizazz, I think it’s only appropriate for a Monday. So I put on my $12 bracelet from Target I got ages ago, it doesn’t take much to spice up a simple outfit!
Recently I’ve seen on the wedding blogs and in the more nontraditional weddings brides with awesome statement necklaces. Melissa from The Loveliest Day featured some brides rocking the trend. I think it is be a great way for women who really express themselves. The photo’s are pretty gorgeous too!
I decided to do some procrastinating online shopping this weekend for some statement pieces on the cheap. I need to bulk up my costume jewelery collection if every Monday is going to feel like this.

I really like this one from Forever 21 however not a huge fan of the quality of jewelry from Forever, but what can you expect much more for $5.80?
Ooo Sparkley! This Urban Outfitters rhinestone mesh bib is beautiful! I wish I had an event lovely enough to wear it to, definitely adding it to my wishlist! Pretty good deal at $34.00.
Now that I have successfully put off my homework long enough, I must get going and be productive! Do you have a favorite place for costume jewelry or do you only wear the real thing?
